I've worked in auto repair since 1996. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 1,080 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 18 years later for another job.
More about Laura
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Laura: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
