I've coached chess at Hubballi Community Club since 1983. Most of my players were between 9 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.

What gifts mean to Latha: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

You coached me in 2005. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Truly.
