Lasanthi Prabha Mendis
Painter, potter and teacher at Oakwood Print Workshop
- 🇱🇰 Dehiwala, Western, Sri Lanka
- Oakwood Print Workshop
- Since 2016
- English, Sinhala
I work mostly in printmaking, sometimes street art. My first show was in 2016 at Oakwood Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Oakwood Print Workshop, which keeps me honest.
More about Lasanthi
I've had 7 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Lasanthi: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
