Lanre Uchenna Ogunbanjo
Self-taught oil painting artist
- 🇳🇬 Epe, Lagos, Nigeria
- Since 1988
- English, Yoruba
I work mostly in oil painting, sometimes calligraphy. My first show was in 1988 at Old Andes Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by folk tales I grew up with. I run most mornings.
More about Lanre
I've had 12 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
