Lanre Garba Falana
Master of baking, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Trades Guild
- 2007 to 2015
- English, Igbo
I've worked in baking from 2007 to 2015. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 150 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Lanre: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
