Kyriakos Ioannis Kalogeropoulos
Coached baseball for 41 years in Athens
- 🇬🇷 Athens, Attica, Greece
- Athens Youth Club
- Since 1985
- English
For 41 years I've run the baseball program at Athens Youth Club in Athens. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Kyriakos
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Kyriakos: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
