Kumara Abeysekera
Coached rugby for 33 years in Galle
- 🇱🇰 Galle, Southern, Sri Lanka
- 1987 to 2020
- English, Spanish
I coached rugby at Galle Boxing Gym from 1987 to 2020. Most of my players were between 12 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm learning the guitar.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Kumara
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
