For eleven years I've run the rowing program at Lucknow Fairview Swimming Club in Lucknow. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

I still think about the cold winter when we all kept our coats on. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Kaduna.
