Kiprop Peter Massawe
Social studies and early years teacher, Kampala
- 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
- Lotus Academy
- Since 2000
- English, Swahili
Lotus Academy is my second home. I teach social studies there since 2000, mostly Year 9.
I've coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Kiprop
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Kiprop: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
