Kidus Ephrem Worku

Youth hockey coach and mentor

  • 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
  • Addis Ababa Harmony Swimming Club
  • 1980 to 2001
  • English
For 21 years I ran the hockey program at Addis Ababa Harmony Swimming Club in Addis Ababa. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turned anyone away.

More about Kidus

If you played for me, you probably remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.

What gifts mean to Kidus: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
