Kidist Genet Yilma
Youth rowing coach and mentor
- 🇪🇹 Mekelle, Tigray, Ethiopia
- Mekelle Swimming Club
- Since 1999
- English
I've coached rowing at Mekelle Swimming Club since 1999. Most of my players were between 10 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
What gifts mean to Kidist: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
