Khalid Hamza Mahmoud

Youth chess coach and mentor

🇸🇦 Mecca, Makkah, Saudi Arabia
Mecca Youth Club
1984 to 2005
English, Arabic

I'm a chess coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 630 kids fall in love with the game. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I watch every football match going. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Khalid

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Khalid: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
