Kemi Wunmi Quadri

Oil painting and street art artist

🇳🇬 Kano, Kano, Nigeria
The Kano Gallery
1991 to 2018
English, Igbo

I'm a oil painting artist based in Kano. I've been making things from 1991 to 2018 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives. I carry a notebook everywhere. My studio is always a bit of a mess.

More about Kemi

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.

Mediums

Oil painting

What gifts mean to Kemi: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
