Kayode Tunde Idowu
Master of plumbing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Kano, Kano, Nigeria
- Little Kano Trades Guild
- Since 1980
- English, Igbo, Spanish
My trade is plumbing. I opened my own shop in 1980 in Kano and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Kayode
If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
What gifts mean to Kayode: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
