Kanchana Prabha Jayasuriya
Self-taught oil painting artist
- 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- 2017 to 2025
- English, Sinhala
I work mostly in oil painting, sometimes jewelry. My first show was in 2017 at Old Hope Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Kanchana
I've had 8 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
