I'm a calligraphy artist based in Kisumu. I've been making things since 2014 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
Most of my work is inspired by faces I pass in the street. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Kamau
I've had 14 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Kamau: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
