Kamal Thilina Gamage

23 years teaching social studies in Dehiwala

🇱🇰 Dehiwala, Western, Sri Lanka
Mount Pleasant Secondary School
Since 1997
English, Sinhala

For 29 years I have been the social studies teacher at Mount Pleasant Secondary School. I teach the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Outside the classroom I watch every football match going. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term. If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.

What gifts mean to Kamal: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
