Kamal Mendis

22 years teaching French in Colombo

🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
Trinity Secondary School
1995 to 2015
English, Sinhala

Trinity Secondary School was my second home. I taught French there from 1995 to 2015, mostly Year 9. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Kamal: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
