I coached chess at Paris Community Club from 2003 to 2019. Most of my players were between 9 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I played music while people worked.
What gifts mean to Justine: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
