Julián L. Bravo

Youth boxing coach and mentor

  • 🇲🇽 Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico
  • Guadalajara Frangipani Swimming Club
  • 1997 to 2007
  • English, Spanish
For ten years I ran the boxing program at Guadalajara Frangipani Swimming Club in Guadalajara. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
