Julia P. Beck
Master of welding, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Rochester, Minnesota, United States
- The St. Anne's Works
- Since 1990
- English, Spanish
I've worked in welding since 1990. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 760 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 23 years later for another job.
More about Julia
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Julia: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
