Josefa R. Ávila
Master of plumbing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- Maple Ridge Shop
- Since 2004
- English, Spanish
I've worked in plumbing since 2004. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 620 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 16 years later for another job.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Josefa
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Josefa: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
