Josefa C. Ávila

Sculpture artist in Tijuana

I'm a sculpture artist based in Tijuana. I've been making things from 2008 to 2018 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives. I take the work seriously, though not myself. My studio is always a bit of a mess. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Josefa

I've had 11 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

I bought one of your pieces in 2024. It's still the first thing I see in the morning. Greetings from Pretoria.
