I'm a calligraphy artist based in Mérida. I've been making things from 2009 to 2025 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
I also teach a weekly class at Old Mérida Art Collective, which keeps me honest.
More about Rafael
I've had 8 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Rafael: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
