Thatching, done properly
- 🇨🇴 Cali, Valle del Cauca, Colombia

- Spanish, English
I've worked in thatching from 2011 to 2024. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 600 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
More about Jorge
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Jorge: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
