John Simiyu Okello
Choir director and singer
- 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
- Kampala Orchestra
- 2016 to 2024
- English, Swahili
I play classical and singing. I started in 2016 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 17 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I walk the dog by the river.
I'm still learning every day.
More about John
If you ever danced at one of my shows, I hope it was a good night.
What gifts mean to John: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
