John Simiyu Mbwambo

Rowing and fitness coach, Dar es Salaam

  • 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
  • Dar es Salaam Swimming Club
  • Since 2007
  • English
I'm a rowing coach. I never went pro, but I get to see 680 kids fall in love with the game. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turn anyone away.

More about John

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to John: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
