I teach physical education at Our Lady of Peace Grammar School in Christchurch since 2009. Most days I teach Grade 8, and my door is open at lunch.
Over the years I've had 600 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about John
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
