I teach geography at Mapo Technical College in Mapo since 1984. Most days I teach Grade 6, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ji-hye
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
