I've worked in pottery since 2009. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 1,000 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 13 years later for another job.
More about Jessica
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Jessica: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
