Jayanthi Amaya Silva
Chemistry and art teacher, Kandy
- 🇱🇰 Kandy, Central, Sri Lanka
- Kandy Boys' School
- 1994 to 2002
- English, Sinhala
Kandy Boys' School was my second home. I taught chemistry there from 1994 to 2002, mostly Grade 11.
Outside the classroom I'm always reading two books at once. Inside it, I learned every name in the first week.
More about Jayanthi
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Jayanthi: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
