I've spent 48 years as a lecturer in law at Iztapalapa Polytechnic in Iztapalapa. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a night-shift cleaner and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
More about Javier
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Javier: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
