Jannat Ishrat Roy
Youth football coach and mentor
- 🇮🇳 Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India
- Chennai Bamboo Community Club
- 1983 to 1996
- English, Bengali
I coached football at Chennai Bamboo Community Club from 1983 to 1996. Most of my players were between 11 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I make terrible puns.
More about Jannat
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Jannat: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.

You coached me in 1986. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Hawassa.
