Janet Nakato Hamisi
Self-taught illustration artist
- 🇰🇪 Kikuyu, Kiambu, Kenya
- 1984 to 2004
- English, Swahili
I got into illustration as a hobby and somewhere along the way it became the thing I do every day.
I also teach a weekly class at Old Kingsway Gallery, which keeps me honest.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Janet
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Janet: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
