Janet K. Mejia

Master of auto repair, now teaching apprentices

  • 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
  • Oakland Shop
  • Since 1999
  • English
My trade is auto repair. I opened my own shop in 1999 in Oakland and I'm still there most mornings. Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I answer every message, eventually. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Janet: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
