I've spent 44 years as a lecturer in public health at Starlight Institute of Technology in Marseille. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a nurse and in a dozen other fields. It is the best part of this job.
More about Jamila
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Jamila: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
