Jamal Ghassan Wahba

Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices

  • 🇺🇸 Chicago, Illinois, United States
  • Windsor Workshop
  • Since 2006
  • English
I've worked in thatching since 2006. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 1,160 apprentices. Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I always make time for a proper cup of tea.

More about Jamal

Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
