Jacques E. Govender
Table tennis coach, Johannesburg Sports Club
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- 1991 to 2011
- English
I coached table tennis at Johannesburg Sports Club from 1991 to 2011. Most of my players were between 8 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
