Coach Ruan
Coached tennis for 20 years in Johannesburg
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Johannesburg Football Club
- Since 2006
- English, Zulu
I've coached tennis at Johannesburg Football Club since 2006. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Coach Ruan
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Ruan: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
