I coached chess at San Diego Central Swimming Club from 2003 to 2012. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

I still think about the quiz night we nearly won. Best summer of my life! Greetings from Sandton.
