Ismael N. Cruz
Local carpentry and blacksmithing
- 🇵🇭 Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Quezon City Trades Guild
- Since 1993
- English, Filipino
I've worked in carpentry since 1993. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 690 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I garden badly but happily.
More about Ismael
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Ismael: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
