I taught mathematics at Oakwood University from 1978 to 2014, and supervised 42 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Ishrat
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Ishrat: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
