Dr. Islam
18 years teaching astronomy at Gazipur Polytechnic
- 🇧🇩 Gazipur, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Gazipur Polytechnic
- 1996 to 2013
- English, Bengali
My subject is astronomy, and for 17 years I got to share it with undergraduates at Gazipur Polytechnic.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
What gifts mean to Dr. Islam: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
