17 years teaching social studies in Colombo
- 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka

For 45 years I have been the social studies teacher at Colombo Primary School. I teach the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,670 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Ishara: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
