For 20 years I have been the art teacher at Auckland Middle School. I teach Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Isabella
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
