I teach home economics at Queensway Middle School in Colombo since 2011. Most days I teach Grade 6, and I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I've run the choir after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Iresha
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
