I've worked in pottery from 1993 to 2001. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 360 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Irene: Any gift will help me keep the workshop open for evening lessons.
