Irene Awino Macharia
Children's librarian in Mombasa
- 🇰🇪 Mombasa, Mombasa, Kenya
- Mount Pleasant Public Library
- Since 1983
- English
I've worked at Mount Pleasant Public Library since 1983. If there was a question, we'd find an answer, or at least a book that might help.
Some of my favorite visitors were children who came for the heating and stayed for the books.
More about Irene
If you ever returned a book late to me, you're forgiven.

What gifts mean to Irene: I'd put a gift toward a reading corner at the nearby school.
