Iqra Iqra Cheema
Children's librarian in Peshawar
- 🇵🇰 Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan
- Peshawar Reading Room
- 1982 to 2019
- English, Punjabi
For 37 years I looked after the shelves, the card catalog and the regulars at Peshawar Reading Room.
Some of my favorite visitors were children who came for the heating and stayed for the books.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Iqra
I still remember the favorites of every regular.
