Retired English literature teacher from Üsküdar Public School

I taught English literature at Üsküdar Public School in Üsküdar from 1991 to 2025. Most days I taught Year 7, and I played music while people worked.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about İpek
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to İpek: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
